Darcy Love (Price) Asplund, age 52, of Dayton, passed away October 8, 2021.

She was born January 23, 1969 in Kettering, Ohio to the late Charles and Lyla “Sue” Price. Darcy was the oldest of three who were all raised in Los Angeles, CA returning to the Dayton area in 1991.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sue October 31, 2014 and her father Charlie September 23, 2018.

Darcy is survived by her husband, Mitchel W. Asplund; her children, James Jordan Salazar (30), Kelsea Paige Price (28); brother, Charles W. (Shelley R.) Price III and their children: Jacklyn N. (Justin) Gabel and their daughter Eleanor, Jasmine E. (Aaron) Huber and their daughter Quinn, Charles W. Price IV, babybrother, Franklin C. (Tracy L.) Price I, and their children, William T. (Christan ) Heidenreich and their children, William Jr., Myracle, Coltyn, Franklin C. Price II, and his daughter Kimberly, Tyler D. Price, Nicholas J. Price and plus one Shelby Ann. Darcy is also survived by her beloved dog “Zeus”.

Darcy was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, who loved camping, fishing, playing bingo and spending all holidays with her family. She fiercely loved and protected her family. Darcy also enjoyed family dinners and get- togethers, nieces and nephews football games.

Darcy’s family would like to thank the staff at Miami Valley Hospital ICU for their loving care.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 9:30 am until time of service at 10:30 am at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
