Melissa Joy "Lissa" Hamlin, age 42, of Clayton, passed away on October 4, 2021, at her home. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on January 1, 1979, the daughter of Christopher and Dorothy Hamlin.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jacqueline Kreitzer; grandparents, Charles and Dora Hamlin.

Lissa is survived by her loving parents, Christopher & Dorothy Hamlin; her son, Troy Voiles; uncle, Norm Hamlin; brother, Chris Hamlin; her loving friends, Ashley Hodge and Angela Kreitzer; cousin, Bradley Hamlin; niece and nephew, Ariana and Joey; and many other loving family and friends.

Lissa worked with her father all of her life. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her son, she devoted her life to him. Her family meant the world to her and she will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 1:00pm-2:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Memorial Services will begin at 2:00pm, immediately following the Visitation times.
