1945 - 2021

Eldene "Charlene" O'Shea, age 76 of Englewood, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, July 29th at Hospice of Dayton after a long, hard battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on June 5, 1945 to the late Samuel and Stanley (Reed) Barnes in Irving, KY. She married the love of her life, Patrick O'Shea, in Tennessee on December 27, 1963.

Charlene was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her children: Thomas (Joanna) O'Shea, Shane (Sara) O'Shea, and Lisa O'Shea; grandchildren: Austin O'Shea, Devin O'Shea, Cheyenne (Michael) O'Shea, Jordan O'Shea, and Gavin O'Shea; brother, Raymond Barnes; sister, Lou Ellen Gray; and brother-in-law Jerry O'Shea. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Patrick O'Shea; her four sisters: Ruby Lynch, Ona Chaney, Dorothy Chaney, and Mildred McCoy; and six brothers: Clyde Barnes, Alvin Barnes, Boyd Barnes, Roy Barnes, Alan Barnes, and Beverly "Wayne" Barnes.

She was a beautiful lady inside and out, that loved her grandkids more than anything. She will be greatly missed!
