A beloved father, brother, and friend to so many…

Athlete, businessman, and devoted father Gary Krebs’ love of life did not come to an end with his death. Gary Lynn Krebs, 57, of Dayton, OH, passed away the morning of July 11, 2021 after a 13-month battle with complications resulting from pancreatic cancer. Born to Lynn and Ada Krebs, Gary was a man of many talents.

As an athlete, Gary was fiercely passionate about his participation in wrestling, and furthermore coaching Jr. High School wrestling. As a professional, Gary grew a successful health insurance business; personally engaging with his clients as if they were close friends or family. It has always been said that his contagious laugh could put a smile on anyone’s face.

Above all else, Gary poured himself entirely into his pride and joy, Joshua Krebs, by being the best father a son could ask for. Gary was a strong, consistent, and selfless father, who undeniably put his son first. His knowledge, steadfast guidance, and unrelenting love is the foundation of who Joshua is today, and who he will always be.

Gary was predeceased by his grandparents, Valsent Bill Krebs and Norma Bell Krebs, his parents, Lynn Howard Krebs and Ada Mae Allen Krebs, and brother Larry Krebs. Gary is survived by his son, Joshua David Krebs; his brother Danny Lee Krebs; and his cherished dog, Molly.
