Shirley L. (Couch) Mercer, age 77 of Tipp City, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was born September 8, 1943 in Hazard, Kentucky to Ernest and Edith Couch.
Shirley was the best mother, grandmother and friend anyone could have. She loved spending time with her family. Shirley liked to go shopping and watch the ID Channel.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harley Edward Mercer, Jr.; a son, Scott Mercer; her parents, Ernest Couch and Edith Spencer; granddaughters, Brandi Montgomery and Sarah Gene Mercer; brothers, sisters and other relatives.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Paula S. (Terry) Montgomery, Tina L. Mercer; Son, Rick E. Mercer; a niece, Vicki Bundy; half brothers and sisters; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other relatives. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Services for Shirley will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
