Ronald L. Gable, age 83, of Dayton, passed away July 14, 2021. He was born June 14, 1938 in Bachman, Ohio to the late Joseph and Maxine Gable. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Jean Gable; son, Scott Gable; and daughter, Teresa Gable.

Ron is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosemary Gable; children: Ronald J. Gable, Christine Kreglow, Jacquelyn Szerecsen and Shelly Barnhart; 14 grandchildren: Jessica, Scott, Amy, Melanie, J.J., Joseph, Rachel, Danielle, Jamie Lee, Steven, Samantha, Tara, Scott and Curtis; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Ron was an avid music lover, especially Jazz. He was a Mechanical Engineer who designed machines and built them for various businesses; and retired in 2001. Ron was a member of the Milton Club and organized bands for several local festivals.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Hope Lutheran Church, 500 Hickory Street, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm.
