Dorothy M. Marksberry, (Jones) “Dottie”, age 89, of Kettering, passed away April 28, 2021.

She was the last of her generation and will unite in heaven with her husband William Joseph, daughter, Donna, 6 siblings and her parents.

Dottie is survived by her children, Deborah May, Dianna (Steve) Gibson, Denise (Pat) Mason, Wm. Allen Marksberry; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a dedicated member of Ascension Catholic Church, a longtime resident of Kettering, Ohio where she spent her summers at Birchwood Swim Club. Dottie was a beloved Cafeteria Lady at Fairmont East High School. In her free time she enjoyed collecting antiques including dolls, clowns and jewelry. But most of all she loved her family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 1:00 pm until time of memorial service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd.

The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
