Marilyn M. Lantz, age 91 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home. She was born September 5, 1929 in Ohio the daughter of the late Rex and Dorothy Johnson.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Johnson.

Marilyn is survived by her brother, Rex N. Johnson, Jr.; children, Sandra Lee (Glenn) Davis, Michael “Mickey” (Jeanette) Rowland and Patrick R. Rowland; grandchildren, Paul (Leslie) Hicks, Steve Rowland, Connie Kirchoff (Paul), Brent Rowland (Amy), Ken (Jennifer) Rowland, Kristen (Amos) Lindsey, Melissa (Kris) Robinson and Laura (Tim) Churchman; great- grandchildren, Michael “Mickey”, Ashley, Aerial, Jessica, Kursty, Cory, Justin, Katelynn, Lily, Wyatt, Aaron, Ellie, Anna, Timothy, Zachariah and Kenadie; great great-grandchildren, Brantley, Hayden, Kamden, Kashton and Carson; along with many nephews, extended family and friends.

She graduated from Patterson Co-Op High School in Dayton. Marilyn retired in 1986, after 30 years of devoted service as a Financial Manager at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She was a member of VWF Post #9582 where she would enjoy playing Texas Hold ‘em and Cash Poker. Marilyn traveled frequently with her good friend Rick Brown, to many different destinations including, Italy, France, Aruba and across the United States. She bowled for numerous years at Varsity Lanes with her girlfriends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the American Legion Post #668, 7015 N. Dixie Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
