In Memory Of
Jeannette L. Woodworth
1964 - 2021

Jeannette Woodworth, 56, of Springboro, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on February 12th, 2021. She is survived by her devout husband, two steadfast daughters and always faithful older brother. Jeannette was predeceased by her mother, father and her beloved older sister.

Jeannette was born on a wintery February day in Missouri. She immediately brought joy, laughter and a fiery presence into the world, recognized by her vibrant red hair. She moved to Ohio in grade-school and made a lasting impact on those around her, still maintaining some of those earliest friendships to this day. Upon entering adulthood, Jeannette graduated from Kettering High School and subsequently pursued a degree in Zoology at Miami University of Oxford, Ohio.

In the summer of 1983, Jeannette fell in love with James, her husband, while at University. They officially became “Miami Mergers" when they married on Valentine’s day a few years later surrounded by friends and family. James and Jeannette were married for over 33 years, meeting their “Iron” anniversary milestone, which specifically speaks to the strength of their eternal bond.

Jeannette connected with those that shared her vibrancy for life. She formed a close “sisterhood” with the women around her. Through those intimate friendships, she found peace, understanding and support.

Jeannette was a generous, witty, and selfless individual who loved traveling. She was an active and dedicated church member, blood donor, and animal shelter volunteer.

While she had a lot accomplishments, Jeannette was most proud of being a mom. She instilled her love and passion for life into her daughters and found ongoing purpose through them. They adored her in every possible way.

The crater left in the hearts from her absence is immense. She will be greatly missed, always loved and forever kept.

In lieu of flowers, and in honor of her everlasting service and commitment to those that she endearingly referred to as her “other favorite people”, please consider a donation in Jeannette’s name to SISCA at https://www.sicsa.org/give/
