The members of Delta Kappa Gamma, Gamma Upsilon Chapter, in Portage County send our condolences to Nancy's family. Nancy was a loyal and loved member of our chapter, a society for outstanding women teachers - which she was! We appreciated Nancy's leadership in her role as president of our chapter. She leaves many friends in our area.

Hello-
This is Christine Lemay from Faith Lutheran Church in Kent, Ohio.
I have such wonderful memories of Nancy! She was the first person I met on my first Sunday attending Faith !
She was so warm and friendly and made me feel at home! Nancy told me about joining the choir (because she found
out I was a music teacher!) Her fellowship led me to years of worship and music at Faith Lutheran.
Nancy also talked about her family and how proud she was of all of you! I remember some of you attending our
Christmas and Easter services.
She was an inspiration and touched many lives!

We truly enjoyed having Nancy as part of our hospital volunteer team for many years. She always greeted guests with a lovely smile at the front desk or provided spiritual comfort to patients through our pastoral care program. We will forever be grateful for the nearly 4,000 hours that she served! She was a lovely lady who will be missed by many friends she made over the years at UH Portage Medical Center (Robinson Memorial Hospital).
Blessings,
Volunteer Services

To the Family of Nancy Schubert :
I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Schubert was my 4th grade teacher at Shalersville Elementary School many, many years ago. Our paths had crossed through the years and she always remembered me with a smile. She was truly a gem , always willing to give her helping hands when needed. I will not only remember her as my teacher but also a friend especially from Christ Lutheran Church in Mantua and UH Hospital . She will be missed. May God bring you peace, strength and comfort during this difficult time.
Deepest Sympathy,
Donna Kolesar

I worked with your mom at the Crestwood 4C’s in Mantua. She was the President of the food cupboard. She was a very nice lady to work with. Prayers with your family at this time.

I am very sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing.
Nancy was a friend through Faith Lutheran Church in Kent- I served with her on Outreach committee and other areas of church for several years. Nancy also kindly gave me the opportunity to work for her at her house when I was out of other work.
I always felt blessed when I was with Nancy, and had many edifying conversations with her about faith and church. I especially appreciated her straightforward conversational style and intelligence on a variety of topics.
I am sure that Nancy is with Him in Heaven now- she will be missed here.
