Ensor, Betty Ruth age 87, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on January 22, 1934 to the late Strauder and Lydia Jane Tipton (nee Branham).

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mattie (Ed) Walker, Molly (Alton) Stull, Katherine (Eddie) Jones, Carl Tipton, James Tipton, and Ila Tipton; granddaughter, Melissa "Missy" Sue Ensor; grandson, Michael McKinney; special grandson, Shady Blue; niece, Debbie Stull Smith; and nephews, Carl D. Tipton, Charles Walker, and Earl "Mugs" Daily Jones.

Betty is survived by her son, Jeffrey A. (Kathy L.) Ensor; daughter, Kimberly S. (Jacqueline Grove) Ensor; grandchildren, Kathrynne McKinney and Elisabeth Ensor; great-grandchildren, Eugene "Geno" Allen, David Allen, Chloe Grace Ensor, and Michael Matthew McKinney; great-great-grandchildren of Elisabeth, Christian "CJ" and Xavier Adams; special girlfriends, Jean Grove, Lee March, and Ruth Marcell; adopted family, Alexandria & Terry Brown and their children, Fidel, Felia and Fiona, and Marina Sweet; sister-in-laws, Louise Tipton and Polly Tipton; nieces and nephews, Patty Walker Centers, Kathy Tipton Roussos, Tony Tipton, Mark Tipton, Steve Jones, Alton Stull, Jr., Teresa Stull Woods, Jackie Stull Rogers, Phil Stull, and Joy Stull; special niece, Brenda Centers; and adopted squirrel named Blacky.

Betty graduated from Mt. Sterling High School in 1952 and worked at Mercy Fairfield Hospital as an accountant for many years. She was an avid reader, gardener and loved making crafts. After retiring, she became a full time grandma and spoiled her children and all her grand-babies. Betty enjoyed hosting family gatherings and cooking & baking, in true southern-style, no one left hungry and always left with goodies. She enjoyed her chocolates!

In loving memory of Betty, contributions may be made to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Oncology Dept, 3333 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45229 - saved the life of Elisabeth Ensor.

Due to the current conditions of COVID, Celebration of Life will be held at a later date by the family in Kentucky. There will be no formal services at the funeral home.
