In Memory Of
Diane Lynn Fillmore
1961 - 2021

Her family always says, “Diane Lynn Fillmore is the closest thing to a Saint that you will ever meet”. She went from being a walking Saint, to now a Guardian Angel that will look over and guide us for all of eternity. She peacefully transitioned on January 14, 2021 at 6:30 pm. Her loving children and husband sat by her side and held her until she took her final breath. Diane was born on October 14, 1961 in St. Mary’s Ohio by her beautiful mother, Margaret Lee Keith and her father, Thomas Keith.

She was, and always will be the staple of her family. Family was the most important thing to her. She unapologetically loved her children unconditionally. She took pride and joy in going above and beyond for her children. Even though at times her son Ryan Keith, her daughter Brittany Fillmore, and her daughter Jazmine Cager asked for a lot, she did everything they asked her plus more, and did it with a smile on her face and a fun dance in her shoulders. She would bring excitement into everyday life with her infectious laugh and by her playful songs she would make up on the fly. The only thing she loved more than being a mother and a wife, was being a grandmother to her 1 year old granddaughter, Anayah.

Her family looked up to her for her determined work ethic. At the time of her passing, she worked at the Kettering Health Network as a Patient Account Representative, and she adored her position. It was a personal goal of hers to work for Kettering Health Network and she was overjoyed when she got the news that she received the position. Her team at the Kettering Health Network considered Diane to be a team player, a passionate worker but most of all a friend.

The family would like to thank the Dayton Veteran Affairs Medical Center Hospital nursing staff and team of doctors for taking the utmost care for their mother. The family would like to also thank them for making her final days as comfortable and nurturing as possible. She passed in peace.

Her cremation and celebration of life ceremony will held at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Dayton, OH. The family requests for guests of the ceremony to incorporate red into their attire, as red was Diane’s favorite color. An intimate gathering of close family and friends will be held at a family friend’s home immediately following.

The viewing will start at 3pm on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Services will begin at 4pm.
