James Lee "Jim" Miller, age 70 of Huber Heights, passed away November 16, 2020. He was born May 6, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Charles and Virginia Miller. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brothers: Ronnie Farmer and David Miller; sister, Ruthann Hoffacker; great-grandchildren: Camiyah and Bailey James; and his beloved dog and best friend, Summer.

Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Belva Miller; daughter, Lisa (George) Bowlin; son, Chuckie Miller; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Donovan) Hirst, Ciera Jones, Jaime (Christopher) Freeman and Christopher (Ashley) Wells; great-grandchildren: Carissa, Christopher, Gracey, Grayson, Gemma, Emelia and Caden; sister, Kay Plummer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Sgt, who served during the Vietnam War. He retired from FlowServe after more than 30 years of service. Jim was an avid Harley rider and was a member of the American Legion # 619, VFW # 3283 and AmVets # 24. Jim was a beloved husband and best friend; and he was a devoted father and grandfather.

A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the Humane Society.
