Maureen O. Adebonojo, age 80 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away October 15, 2020. She was born February 22, 1940 in Ijebu-ode, Ogun state, Nigeria daughter of the late Gabriel and Elizabeth Odudemuren.

Maureen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Maureen was a member in the choir of St. Georges Episcopal Church for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, hosting friends and family gatherings, traveling, and spending time with her family. Maureen will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Maureen was preceded in death by her sister, Oludotun Paul.

Maureen is survived by her husband of 58 years, LTC Samuel Adebonojo, retired Chief of Surgery, Dayton VA Medical Center, previous chief of Thoracic Surgery, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC; children, Margaret Olufunke Adebonojo, Anthony (Tola) Adefolarin Adebonojo, and Christopher Adewale Adebonojo; grandchildren, Daniel Adebonojo and Joy Adebonojo; siblings, Mojisola Farinre, Oluremi Joshua - Olushoga, and Olufunmilola (Siyan) Oyebadejo ; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 9:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Private Burial at Dayton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be made in Maureen's honor to St. George's Episcopal church, (5520 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429).
