Cheryl Lynn (Carroll) Coker, age 46 of Riverside, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was born April 24, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio to Edward and Mary (Overman) Carroll.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, William Coker (Bill) Jr.; two daughters, Marisa and Mikala Coker, her mother, Mary Carroll; a granddaughter, Kaylen; two brothers, Chuck (Barb) Carroll and John (Sue) Carroll; a sister, Margie (Brad) Keenan; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward.

Cheryl graduated from Stebbins High School in 1990 and immediately entered the workforce with General Motors. When GM closed their factories, Cheryl attended the National American College and graduated with her Associates Degree in 2010. Cheryl’s work career consisted of surgical technician, tissue bank technician, with her latest employment as a Crash Technician with the NHTSA, she truly enjoyed this job.

Cheryl was a dedicated mother to Marisa and Mikala and she was their loudest cheerleader and their biggest fan. She attended all of their sporting events and she ensured her daughters were provided all the necessary tools to guarantee their success. Cheryl embraced being a grandmother with all of heart and soul and she immensely loved her granddaughter, Kaylen still misses her “mamaw Coker”.

Cheryl was a devoted daughter who valued her time with her mother. Cheryl spoke to her mother daily. They vacationed many times together. The most memorable vacation was to NYC with her mother and sister, where they were able to “see the sights” and catch a Broadway show. Cheryl loved life and entertaining family and friends at her home, she never missed a holiday with her family. Cheryl will be remembered as a fun-loving person with an infectious laugh and a love for country music, especially Brad Paisley. Cheryl was a very sweet person, her love and kindness will forever leave a mark in our hearts, her untimely death leaves us heartbroken.
