Hornsby, Brenda Sue age 69, of West Milton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. She was born in Oneida, Kentucky on October 7, 1950 to the late Virgil and Stella Powell (nee Duff).

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lorena McElfresh.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Ryan Griffith) Schoening; grandson, Austin (Shelby Wolfe) Crickmore; great-granddaughter, Carleigh Crickmore; sister, Becky (Michael) Phillips; and a host of other family members and friends.

Brenda enjoyed the best things in life, fresh coffee, chocolates, and her favorite restaurant, Frisch's Big Boy (has to be fresh). She loved watching Big Brother. When she was younger, she would travel with friends to Las Vegas and The Boat in Indiana to gamble. More importantly, Brenda loved her family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm.
