In Memory Of
Ryan Scott Burrows
1975 - 2020

Ryan Burrows, age 45, of Huber Heights, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at home with his family. Ryan was born January 20, 1975 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, to his parents,John Bruce Burrows & Dorothy Dolores (Petty) Chamberlin.

Ryan was a loving Pop-Pop, father, husband, son, brother, and friend. Ryan loved to joke around with everyone, especially a good prank of scaring people. He loved family and playing with all of his grand-babies. Always willing to help anyone, Ryan was always there for others. Ryan was a dad and friend to so many. He will be missed so very much by all!

Ryan was preceded in death by his step-father, Donald Chamberlin and sister in law, Jen Chamberlin.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife, Dawn (Jones) Burrows; his children, Ashley Reel, and future son-in-law, Anthony Barton, of Huber Heights; Lacey Reel, and future son-in-law, Michael Engle, of Huber Heights; Rebecca McDonnell, and son-in-law Ross McDonnell, of Medway; Carter Burrows, of Medway; mother, Dorothy Chamberlin of Huber Heights; father, Bruce Burrows, of Riverdale, Utah; brothers - Robert Burrows (wife, Heidi) , Richard Burrows (wife, Ellen), Jerry Chamberlin (wife, Mary), Randy Burrows, Dennis Chamberlin, David Chamberlin (wife, Sonya), and Reese Burrows (wife, Colbi); sister, Kristine (Burrows) Lurz (husband, David); granddaughters, Emma (11), Aubree (6), Adalynn (3), Olioanna (1), Eliza (6 months); grandsons Mason (5) and Zephyn (1 week), as well as many nieces and nephews and so many people who he was like a father, brother, and friend to.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, with the lack of life insurance to help, the family is humbly accepting donations for his surviving wife, Dawn, who is battling Stage 4 cancer and Mother, who he has been helping to care for. Check can be made out to Dawn Burrows (wife) or Dorothy Chamberlin (mother) to help with expenses.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424). Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Please consider a contribution to Ryan's family to assist with his funeral expenses via Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/donate/292166475382369/3139466596129428/).

Note: Ryan preferred things casual and fun. The family would like services to be the same. With that in mind, the family asks that those in attendance celebrate Ryan and his favorite things - Ohio State and Star Wars - by wearing Ohio State colors or shirts, or Star wars T-shirts, etc. Either way, they wish the day to be casual, fun and loving in Ryan’s memory and in a style he loved.
