Leola Bo Hunter a resident of Dayton for 68 years was born on June 2, 1938 to the late Jesse and Willie Mae Heath in Wedowee, Alabama. Leola was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. She retired from the Golden Nugget as a chef cook in 1980 following many years of service. Leola accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. On Monday July 27, 2020 at the age of 82 Leola peacefully transitioned from this life while at home to her heavenly home. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sunethia Hunter; one sister, Helen Heath Mitchell and one nephew, Jeffery Thomas. She leaves to cherish precious memories her only daughter, Vickie (Eric) Hood of Dayton, OH; one sister, Jessie Mae(LC Owens) Thomas of Dayton, OH; brother/cousin Theodore (Annie Lee) Satterwhite of Dayton, OH; aunt, Thelma Ringer of Chattanooga, TN; 7 grandchildren; 3 devoted granddaughters, Felicia Sumerlin, LaShawna Hood, Erica Hood all of Dayton, OH; 4 devoted grandsons, Clemon Choice Jr., Marvin Hunter, Jabbar (Danielle) Owsley of Dayton, OH and Collin Ringer of Alabama; 3 great-grandkids, Demarcus Hunter, Marvin Hunter Jr., London Hunter; 2 nieces, Deborah Blake of Charleston, SC and Cheryl Thomas of Dayton, OH; 2 nephews, Darrell A. (Annette) Thomas Sr. of Dayton, OH and Anthony (Diane) Heath of Dayton, OH; devoted cousins, the Billingsley Family, Barbar Ann Senter and Mary (Dewight) Arris Satterwhite; and a host of family and friends.
