Marianne Bachman, age 82 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020.

Marianne was a member of Queen of Apostles Church. She was an artist who belonged to multiple clubs, including the Tri-Art Society and the Traveling Brushes. She was happy to display her artwork at several local churches, hospitals and art shows where she won several awards for her work.

Marianne was a farmer and horse lover at heart. She was also an avid gardener and cook who loved to share her food. She spent the last 49 years caring for her horses and various other animals on the family farm where she lived with her husband and children.

Marianne is survived by her children, Joyce (Robert) Thommen, Sheryl Fast, Cathy Krueger, Ken (Laurie) Anderson Lisa (Randall) Hair & Eric (Debbie) Bachman; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bachman; parents and sister, Millie Schlosser.

Funeral Service will be held on July 18, 2020 at 10:00 am at Queen of Apostles Church "QAC" (4432 E. Patterson Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45430). There will be a time before the service where friends and family may say a few words or tell a story about her. If you would be comfortable doing so, we would appreciate it. Procession and burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.

We are asking family and friends to NOT wear black clothing to the services. Marianne was such a vibrant person and we want to celebrate her life in the same way. Please wear bright colors to reflect her spirit we will be celebrating.

Please visit the site later this week to view special pictures we will have posted for her.
