Carolyn Gibson, age 75 of Dayton, passed away June 26, 2020. She was born December 1, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Paul and Juanita Capps. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Gibson; sisters: Pat, Debbie and Betty; brothers: Paul, Eddie and David; and great-grandson, Trevor.

Carol is survived by her children: Paula Charles (Bill), Terri Hoover (Pat) and Bob Bechtolt; grandchildren: Savannah, Kameron, Michael, Christina, Tamara, Robert IV, Sara, Sierra and Cheyenne; great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Alexander, Jaxen, Kameron, Kingston, Bentley, Damon, Bellamy, Madison, Mason, Nathan, Robby and Alayna; sisters: Brenda Ishmael (Mike), Wanda Mosley (Carl), Shirley Johnson and Robin Bruggeman (Dave); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including her best friend, Anita Janes.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Woodland Cemetery.
