Rochelle Leigh Shockey Foster
3.26.84-6.18.20

Rochelle was loved and admired by those whose lives she touched through friendship, her innate ability to love, support, anchor and ground her family and through her bartending job at Bojangles.

The list of those who loved her is long and not all inclusive:

Johnathan (John) Foster, her “Big Strong Man”. Rochelle and John’s blended family, Arianna & Alanna Roberts, Brianna, Cameron, Jordan & Jayden Foster and Braylen Darden. Rochelle’s mother Anne Shockey, father Michael Shockey (Tracey Brelje & Killian Jirka), brother Mike Shockey (Marissa, Gabriel & Andersen). Her grandparents Charlotte “Granny” Bond and Avinelle (Bob) Schultz. Aunts Jane (Sharon) Bond, Diane (Steve) Schaeffer, Debbie (Chris) Wenclewicz. Tabitha Marshall (Rodney Marshall & Caleb Manning), Rochelle’s soul sister and dearest lifelong friend, as well as cousins & a multitude of friends.

Rochelle didn’t always arrive to the party on time but when she did arrive, she was dressed to the nines and ready to lead the way! Her no nonsense style, confidence and daring nature ensured everyone that things would be alright!

A celebration of Rochelle’s life service will be held Monday June 29 at Zion Lutheran Church 5550 Munger Rd. Dayton, OH 45459 from 2-4pm. Friends and family are welcome to this service-please bring a mask, they are required. There will also be a private service held at Highland Cemetery for immediate family only.

Fly High, Rochelle....now you can breathe...John Foster’s got this!
