PORTER, Rhonda Porter, 59 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at home with her family at her side. Rhonda was born September 5, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio to Gordon and Norma (Davis) Phillippe who precede her in death.
Rhonda leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 41 years, David Porter, two daughters Kerry May (Carl) Mackert, Jessica Elaine (Charles) Mosley; grandchildren Brandyn, Brianna and Tiernan. Also surviving are her twin sisters Pamela Philippe and Lori (Mark) Yeary.
Rhonda was a 1978 graduate of Libby High School, Toledo, Ohio, was a member of First Church of Christ in Fairborn, Ohio. Rhonda was dedicated to her husband and family during her life, through difficult times and her husbands' 20 years of US Air Force service. Rhonda was a warrior of her own kind before cancer shortened her life. Cancer turned her fire for life into an inferno. There was so much more she wanted to do. Though her life was shortened, it never stopped her. She loved hard and with her all. Rhonda was loving, caring and above all, loved her family and friends. We pray that her love for life will light a fire in your soul.
There will be a Celebration of Rhonda's life, 1:00 pm Saturday, July 4, 2020 at FIRST CHURCH OF CHRIST, 1166 Kauffman Ave, Fairborn, OH 45324 with Pastor Steve Sisco presiding.
