Timothy T. Jex
1959 - 2020

JEX, Timothy T., age 61, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away peacefully on 18 June 2020, surrounded by family and friends. Tim had a distinguished 33- year career in the United States Air Force (USAF) culminating as a highly decorated Brigadier General (DR). His AF career included serving as a Flight Surgeon, Command Surgeon, Commander of various AF medical groups and ultimately, the Commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory 711 Human Performance Wing.

Tim was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a full-time mission in Japan and spent his life serving in many roles in the church including Bishop. With his deep understanding of the gospel, he is best remembered for his gift of teaching.

Tim was very spiritual, deeply intellectual, and highly driven, but also knew how to have fun. He was inspiring to many and united people. Tim loved sports, outdoor recreation, and spending time with friends and family. He will be dearly missed by family, friends, and those whose lives he touched.

Tim is survived by his wife Anastasiya; a daughter, Kristen Jex; a son, Mykyta Jex; Chie Jex, Kristen's mother; a sister, Janet (Morgan) Hatt; a brother, Doug (Linda) Jex; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
