Sue, we were so sorry to hear about Warren. He was a very good friend and we have so many great memories to last a lifetime. Always had a great time with him & Ben drinking their moonshine or whatever, then Warren would get on his bicycle and ride rather wobbly back down to your RV. Hope you are doing ok. Take care of yourself.
~ Jack & Joan Penrose - December 20, 2020
I was so sad to learn just today that my friend Warren passed away in April. I worked with him several years ago at DP&L, and we attended the same church when I lived in Ohio. Everyone looked up to Warren. He was a great guy, a hard worker, and had a big heart and personality. My prayers will be with Sue and the family. May the Lord comfort you with His peace and abundant comfort as only He can.

We will truly miss Warren, our hearts go out to his family.
We have alot of good memories that we will cherish forever.
Camping, fishing, going on trips..1st time to Vegas, 1st cruise.
He was more than a friend, he was family.
We still can't believe he's gone but we will cherish all the
memories we had with him.
~ Bugs and Peggy Mabes - April 19, 2020
Warren was THE BEST father in law I could have ever had!! It was always fun being around him whether we were just sitting around talking, fishing, and even when we were working on projects.
No one could tell a story like him, even the stories he would make up for the grand kids. They loved them and so did we!
We will miss him so much but are so grateful for the time we had with him.

I have been truly blessed, & very lucky to have known & shared many a laugh, and good story with Warren. A 24kt heart of Gold, who never hesitated to lend a helping hand.
My family and Siblings will always cherish the memories and i know Warren will want us to smile & continue on our lifes journey until we all meet again. (Keep the Molson's cold )Will miss you big time, as Heaven just received a splendid Hall of Famer for sure.
My very heartfelt sympathies to all of Warren's families and friends.

I went to school with Warren at both Meadowdale elementary school and Meadowdale HS. I can’t say that we were close friends but I knew him and it’s always sad when a old school mate leaves this world.RIP

This sentence from the orbit is so very true, "Warren will be remembered for his sense of humor of giving everyone a hard time."
That is a huge understatement yet I wish he could give me a hard time just one more time. I loved and respected the man.
Sue, I'm so sorry. I remember so well how often he spoke of you. It was apparent you were the only one who could keep him in line.
~ Jack Stackman - April 14, 2020

We had so many great fun times with Warren and Sue.
Warren always in his shorts, tank top and sandle’s even
though it was cold to everyone else. Always willing to help
anyone in need. A true friend. We’ll miss you Warren.
~ Joan & Jack Penrose - April 13, 2020
My heart breaks for you Sue and family. We always enjoyed visiting with Warren and listening to the "big fish stories". Camp in Canada was one of my favorite spots and you know how Bob loved. They can tell each other stories about Lake Desbarats in Heaven. Hugs and prayers. Your memories will be your treasures.
~ Shirley Fissell - April 13, 2020
Warren was capable of many things but what I admired most about him was his ability to find humor in the most frustrating of situations. He was all business when the moment demanded it, but afterwards that moment became a punchline of his for years to come.
The second thing I admired most about Warren was how he never saw me as a punchline.
I'm grateful he was a part of my life and I'll carry that appreciation forever. He lives in me now and I'm a better person for it.
Until we meet again, Warren. Thank you for the laughs.
Sincerely, your nephew.

So sad to hear this. Warren always made me laugh with his stories and the stories my Aunt and Uncle would share of their time with Sue and Warren. I'll never forget the fun I had my first time camping in Canada. Warren was an awesome person

My husband and I only just met Warren and Sue this past fall but they grew to be like grandparents to us. We will always remember going fishing and then having our get together fish fry's with him and Sue and all our neighbors here. We will miss him greatly. Our hearts and prayers are with Sue and the whole family. Much love, Ron and Amber Lyons.
~ Amber Lyons - April 13, 2020
What a wonderful host of Hidden Well Camp! Warren was always so pleasant, hard-working, and caring. The outdoor conversations were always looked forward to. Not enough could be said about such a kind man who clearly loved his family--even if we only saw it one week per year. He will be greatly missed.
~ David & Cara Vogler - April 13, 2020
We were so very sorry to learn of Warren's death. We are also sorry that due to COVID-19, we could not be there to support you in this time of loss. You got it right in the obit, he loved to give a "hard time", but he also could take it!! Thinking of you all!
