Chrystal Lynn Dell was born December 16, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio. Chrystal was raised by her loving parents Robert and Jackie Dell, along with her younger brother Robert Edward("Robbie").

Her early education began at Spring Valley Academy starting with first grade, where she made lifelong friends. After graduating from high school in 1985, Chrystal later served on the Spring Valley Alumni committee and participated in many volunteer activities associated with the school. After graduation she enjoyed attending Oakwood College.

An active member of both the Centerville and Ethan Temple Seventh-Day Adventist churches, Chrystal grew up participating in Pathfinders, AYS and all types of church activities. More recently at Ethan Temple she served as a Deaconess, lifted her voice as part of the Praise Team, and helped with church events & potlucks as part of the Hospitality committee.

Chrystal had many diverse interests and was an avid music lover who enjoyed reading, singing at church, attending concerts or Broadway shows, eating out with friends, volunteering and traveling.

Starting in 1984 Chrystal began working at Kettering Hospital where she spread her special brand of joy to patients and staff alike. She worked for Kettering for 35 years.

Chrystal is survived and mourned by her mother Jacquelyn Dell, her Aunt Edna Williamson (Jimmy), her Aunt Barbara Glenn, Aunt Vivian Hunt, as well as loving members of the Vaul family including her siblings three sisters Anita, Margaret, Juana and five brothers Edward, James, William, Jeff, and Carl along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father Robert E. Dell and brother Robert E. Dell II.
