1936 - 2020

Rohani, Margaret "Marge", Griges, age 83, passed away suddenly at her residence in Enon, Ohio on Tuesday, February 25.

Marge was born in Beckley, WV on August 1, 1936, the daughter of Pete and Helen (Wilkowski) Griges. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson HS, and subsequently trained as an X-ray technician. She met her husband, Dr. Meredith Rohani, while he was a surgery resident at Beckley Hospital, where Marge worked, and they were married April 9, 1961. Marge served as nurse and office manager at Meredith's practice in Beckley for many years, until Meredith retired from practice.

Throughout their life together, Marge and Meredith enjoyed a passion for life and travel, typified by time spent at their home on Flat Top Lake, and many trips to Florida and Virginia Beach. After retirement, the couple moved to Beavercreek, Ohio, in 2004.

Marge and Meredith were blessed with three children, Darleen (Brian) Palmer of Enon, Ohio, Paul (Mara) of Georgia, and Mark Jamie (Lori) of Virginia, and with grandchildren Katy, Cameron, Alexis, Desha, and Landon. Meredith passed away in 2018, after 57 years of marriage, and Marge subsequently moved in with Darleen and Brian, in Enon.

Visitation for Marge Rohani will be held 9-10:00 AM on Friday, March 6, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH. A funeral Mass will follow at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1440 North Fairfield Rd in Beavercreek, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice, in Marge’s name.
