Janice Rosemary Bell, “Rosie”, age 89, of Miamisburg, passed away December 25, 2019.

She was born August 1, 1930 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Edythe Server Preble. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Church of Christ which was a very big part of her life. As well as singing in the choir she also provided voluntary services for many of those years. She also sang in the Community Chorus and in the chorus of the Dayton Opera. Rosie was a very kind and loving person and she warmed the hearts of everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her husband, Albert Bell, Jr., brother, David Preble.

Rosie is survived by her children, Claudia Plesha, Vickie Proffit, Scott (Debbie) Schrank, Theresa (Tom) Peacock, Tina (Dave) Biggs; grandchildren, Ron Berry, JoAnn (Raphard) Hickcox-Moody, Kacey Proffit, Matthew (Niki) Peacock, Stacey (Tricia) Huffman, Christopher Huffman, Nikki (Scott) Wolf, Danielle Schrank, Jamie Schrank, and Dane Schrank. She is also survived by (12) great grandchildren, and (1) great-great grandchild.

Memorial Services will be held on January 18, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, 203 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association in Rosie’s honor.
