I am Greg's hirdresser. I just found his obituary online today. He has been heavy on my mind. I am so sorry to see that he has passed away. Greg was a very kind and funny guy. He always joked with me while getting his hair and beard trims. I will miss him and our time. He always talked about Miles and how big he was getting. Greg really loved his family. I can be at peace that he is now with his loving wife. I know he missed her so much. Now they can rest together in everlasting peace.

My prayers for the family during this time of loss, may Jesus welcome Greg into his arms.

Dear family, and mother, Martha. So very sad to hear of Greg's passing. I saw him at our 50th class reunion last year in Ossian. He still had his fun sense of humor. It's so sudden after his wife, your Mother, recently passed away. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Your memories will be with you forever to cherish after the grieving and sadness subsides from this sad loss. My heart hurts for you. His brothers and sisters too. I remember you from our childhood growing up in Ossian. My daughter, Penny's little girl, Ellie died in 2006 two days after her 5th bd (car accident), Penny passed away 11/7/2016, the my Mom 2/7/17. And you knew brother Tom in '98. And my Dad ..2011.
Your family has had some grieving also. It takes faith and healing and time to get through all you have gone through. May God be with you as you mourn this sad loss.
In sympathy,
Sandy Droege - Graf

I am so sorry to hear of Greg’s passing. That class of ‘68 doesn’t seem so very long ago. 12 years before I remember getting lost on my first walk home alone from the Markle School. Greg led me to his grandma’s house....thinking she could help. But when we got to her house I found I knew my way home from there! Little did I know a few short years later I would be dating that nice boy’s cousin Herb and hanging around with them and his other cousin Bruce. We sure had some fun. My thoughts and prayers are with those who loved Greg. He will be missed.

My condolences to Greg's entire family for the loss of such a good man. He always had a smile on his face and a quick wit about him. He was loved by many and he will be missed. RIP, my dear friend you will always be in my heart.

Greg and I became close friends when we played sports at Norwell High school. I was at the Foughty home almost more than I was at my own home. Before I got on the Sheriff Department Greg and I drove truck for the same company propane transport. We all lost a great friend and a person that could always put a smile on your face ! Going to miss you Greg but I know that some day I will see you on the other side.

My uncle Greg came into my life when I was 12. He was charismatic a jokester and full of information and opinions that taught me to question life and go after what I wanted he encouraged laughed loved and teased me right up to his last visit. I knew without a doubt he loved me and we both wished for more opportunities to sit and talk. I have nothing but the best memories of the summers I spent in Indiana and the joy he brought my sons getting to ride in his big rig. His smile will remain in my memories and his laughter fill my soul on my hardest days. I’m glad though he will be w sue, Ken, Rachel his brother his nephew and my mom n dad lord help heaven as the reunions begin. Love you always , Steff

I remember standing at the fish cleaning station cleaning fish because his wife Carol wanted to go home. The whole time we were cleaning fish, she was catching them faster than we were cleaning and she was the one who was ready to leave. He loved to fish, but nothing gave him greater pleasure than watching Carol (Aunt Sue) catch fish. Then the fight started and they didn't leave anytime soon. What fun. They both loved time at the lake.
