Julius Ross McNeil, age 75, of Piqua, OH passed away on October 3, 2019. Julius was born on February 4, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of Jake and Mary McNeil.

Julius worked as a construction and industrial worker for Harmony Systems and Service, Inc. He was a Christian and believed in his God and his faith. Julius was a people person and enjoyed his friends and family very much. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following his Chicago Bears and Bulls. Julius received his GED and furthered his education by becoming self-taught and developing a vast depth of knowledge which was a result of being a prolific reader. He especially enjoyed reading anything regarding history and most of all his bible. He also wrote beautiful poetry. He was a "stepper" and loved to dance. However, his greatest joy in his life was his family.

Julius leaves behind a living legacy consisting of his loving sons, Ethan Ross (Jomeshua) McNeil of Jacksonville, FL, Julian Kellen Ross McNeil of Jacksonville, FL, and Ryan Ross McNeil of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Janet and brother-in-law John Dell Aquila of Beecher, IL, Hazel Mitchell of Houston, TX and Annice Moses of Arlington Heights, IL; grandson, Rashad Ross McNeil; granddaughters, Jada Nicole McNeil, and Nyleah Alissa Ashara McNeil; and also several loving nieces, nephews and close friends.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Julius at a later date. Cremation will take place.
