Dennis E. Noyes, Sr. “Denny”, age 63, of Dayton, passed away September 17, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born February 20, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to Lawrence Eugene and Margaret Jean (Sturm) Noyes.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Margaret Noyes. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 42 years, Teresa (Ritchie) Noyes; his 3 children, Nick Noyes and wife, Christy, Dennis Noyes, Jr. and wife, Amanda, Sarah Noyes and Fiancé, Nick Hudson; 6 grandchildren, Jacob “Captain”, Courtney “Rose”, Cameron “Coach”, Destiny “Daisy”, Kaylie “Butterfly”, Nicholas “Champ”; great-granddaughter on the way “Rose Petal”. Denny is also survived by his 3 sisters, Debbie Baker, Nancy Dinwiddie, Peggy White, and many other relatives and wonderful friends.

Family was most important to Denny. He passed along much wisdom and many positive life lessons to his family and friends. Some of Denny’s favorite sayings were “What a day it is”, “Every day is a good day”, and “Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life”.

Denny was beloved by his family and many friends. He shared a lifelong friendship with Teresa, the love of his life.
It was very important to Denny to make sure you had a smile on your face.

Denny loved life and had many interests. He enjoyed being outdoors, planting vegetable and flower gardens and sharing the bounty with family, friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed listening to the Blues and Classic Rock music, making sure “Alice’s Restaurant” by Arlo Guthrie was played at Thanksgiving dinner each year.

Denny also had a love for all types of art especially by Salvador Dali, hanging many of his prints in the family home. He was also very artistic and created many beautiful projects both inside and outside at his home. Craftsmanship was very important to Denny, he appreciated perfection and had a keen eye for detail. Denny built beautiful custom display cabinets in the home for his large collection of Hotwheels.

Denny was deeply loved by all who knew him and he made a deep impact on his family and friends. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm on Friday September 20, 2019 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
