Jack served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and after returning continued to love his country and be patriotic until his passing. He retired from PMI Services in Dayton, Ohio.
Jack will be missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Anne; son, Richard (Audrey) Drerup; daughter, Rebecca Drerup; numerous grandchildren; brothers, Gerald (Karen) Drerup and Karl (Patricia) Drerup; sister, Carol (Jerome) Hemmerle; brother-in-law, Joseph Siepel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Maria Joseph Nursing Center, 4830 Salem Ave., in Trotwood. Burial at 2:30 p.m. at the Dayton National Cemetery.
