Moving on without you here is hard but loving you forever is easy!

I think of you every day
~ Lashunda Byrd - October 12, 2019
So forgive by faith, not by feelings. Let the Lord give you strength. He’s God in Heaven and in earth and hell. Jesus feels what you feel on the inside. Let him in and ask Him how do get strength to continue living and not let yourself feel like you want to go home and be with your love one. Let Jesus comfort you and use his Word to give you courage in your heart.
"But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus." --1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."--Isaiah 41:1
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you." --Isaiah 43:2
". . . For the LORD has comforted His people And will have compassion (love) on His afflicted." --Isaiah 49:13
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." --Matthew 5:4
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot touched with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy (love) and find grace to help in time of need." --Hebrews 4:15-16
"Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." --1 Peter 5:5-11

I am devoting my prayers today to Monica and to her family and friends. What a tragic loss. Reading about her, I know enough to see what a lovely person she was. I pray that she is in God's hands and free from any fear, pain, and doubt and that she is Really Living! I pray that I might see her in our Father's house where all is answered and all has worked together for good. With deep compassion, Jeff Johnson, La Jolla, California
~ JEFF JOHNSON - August 16, 2019
I met Monica several years ago while in VA Beach training for work. She and Bea had me laughing more than I was working but their love for each other was obvious and their compassion for others was evident. If there is any solace in this unnecessary tragedy, it is that these best friends, went together. When Anthem lost both Monica and Bea, we lost two valued members of the company. I don't live far from Dayton and this will forever haunt me. To your family, my deepest sympathies.
~ Julia Stanforth - August 12, 2019
Bonita & Dale, I can't imagine what you are going thru. I just learned today about Monica as I didn't know her married name. I remember her as a toddler to early teens. My heart, love, thoughts, and prayers are with you, the Chapman's, Brim's, Storey's, and Brickhouse's.. May he continue to keep all of you in his arms of love.. Lean on him, he is your source of strength. Monica will be missed.

Family so so sorry for your loss love and prayers to you all Rest easy Monica ??
~ Marsha Jones - August 10, 2019
My deepest sympathies go out to the Storey & Brickhouse family. Monica IS a Positive Light, Force and Person that I was Blessed to have worked with, from 2002-2006, and call a Friend. Her Eyes and Smile would Light up the room and She Always had Kind Words to say. Her Sense of Humor and Quick Wit was Unmatched. I never saw her get out of character for the slightest thing. Please accept this Bird of Paradise as a Token of the LOVE She Showed Everyone in Her Midst. When eyes rest upon it, May The Beholder Think of Her as the Angel She Was on Earth that Now Soars in the Paradise we Know as Heaven. May Her Energy and Memory Be A Blessing to The Family, Friends and People Around the World.

My prayers and condolences to her entire family as well as friends and everyone who loved her. Rest Well Monica! B. Lott

I remember how good of a person she was and she made my dad and family so happy and ever since the shooting no one is going to be the same i mean I cant even smile like I do anymore and the fact that my brain knows that she is gone my heart will never let go. Monica was the best step mom a little girl could have that just they way that I see it. When I heard the news that she was gone my heart shattered and now I wonder how do I fix this. But you can't fix everything. I try to be happy put on a happy face everyday. But I cant do that knowing i'm not going to be able to call see or even hear her voice again. She was a great person to be around she helped a lot she brought smiles laughter everything you see in a joyful person that was her. She was the best step mom ever and she can't be replaced. She met my dad and they had an instant click its like i looked and i said yea that is my step mom. Now and days people are so cruel she didn't deserve this she waked with a smile she had her bad days but didn't show them she always showed a smile. To be truthfully honest i knew she was right for my dad and my dad knew she was right for him.
