Sue Ann Cox, age 74 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2019. She was born on January 25, 1945 to the late Pearl and William Henry. Sue married her childhood love, Ronald Cox on February 17, 1962. The two shared many happy years together until his passing in 2016.

She was an avid gardener and loved having flowers around her home. She enjoyed doing puzzles and needlepoint in her free time. Sue was a caring, hardworking, and kind woman. She could light up a room with her smile and never knew a stranger. Sue was a loving, generous, and compassionate, mother, grandmother, and dear friend. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Cox; siblings, Mary Boling, Bill Henry, Nancy Heindl, and Debbie Sexton; and grandchildren, Nicholas and Tyler Moore.

Sue leaves to cherish her memory, loving daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Walter Moore; granddaughter, Sarah Moore; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A funeral service honoring Sue's life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 10:30am at Newcomer - Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd). Visitation to take place for one hour prior to service (9:30am - 10:30am). Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
