Cecilia “Ceil” Hall, age 81, of Spring Valley, passed away May 12, 2019.

She was born December 2, 1937 in a cabin in Scuddy, Kentucky to the late Jerry and Goldie (Huff) Wells.

Ceil was a Christian and loved Jesus. She enjoyed reading her bible and raised her children as Christians. Ceil worked hard to keep a nice home, and loved being a hostess, making sure everyone was comfortable and well fed. She was a good cook and enjoyed doing so. Ceil worked for many years in the dry cleaning industry. She was generous with her time when her family was in need. She was a care giver to her sister and mother when they were ill. She loved her family and was a very loving person. Ceil enjoyed travelling and fishing with her husband.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Afton Wells, sister, Ada Cooley, twin brother, Cecil Wells, sister, Wilma Robinson, brother, John Alex “JA” Wells, and sister-in-law, Mabel Wells.

Ceil is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert “Bob” Hall; children, Debra (John) Taylor, Michael “Mike” (Rhonda) Hall; grandchildren, Sara Taylor, William Taylor; older brother, Atana Wells, youngest brother, Samuel (Lucellan) Wells; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Bethany Lutheran Village and Hospice of Dayton for their loving care of Cecilia. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Ceil’s memory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:30 am at Newcomer, Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
