I remember us texting about a month ago and I had planned on coming to Ohio this summer. I said I was bringing my daughter and granddaughter for you and Mindy to meet for the first time. It had been so long and so much time had passed. You said you couldn’t wait and was so excited for us to come. I regret that so much time has passed and we never really got a chance to catch up.. you will forever be in my heart and my thoughts and prayers.. I love you so much cousin... love michelle

It is with deep sadness that we learned about "Little" Gary. We watched him grow from a young teenager into a loving adult. His quick smile made anyone feel welcome and instantly at ease. He will forever be in our hearts and alive in our memories.
God bless "Little" Gary, his family, and friends.

Let me start by saying, I have loved you everyday....and now I will miss you everyday. People ask for memories, I can't even think straight, to answer. There are so many to choose from, from when we were kids to these last few years. I have my memories with you, those will last forever. But I want people to know what you meant to me. You were kind, respectful, funny. Loved me, for me. Flaws and all. Your love of animals is something we shared together. I looked forward to the memes you would text. I looked foward to hearing hey sis, and shooting the breeze about whatever. I looked forward to seeing your handsome face, that resembles our father's. I'm going to miss your heart, because it was a good one. You took a piece of my heart with you, but that's okay, I want you to have it. Be at peace, my baby brother. I love you.

31 years ago my nephew was in Chicago with family. We were on a full day of fun and sightseeing, when Gary announced I have to pee. We were on a carriage ride and our driver was so kind, pulled over and he jumped out! Got back in carriage so proud and said I peed in the dirt. My nephew was a true joy. He will live on in my heart forever. Rest In Peace my dear boy!

Gary, you will be sorely missed. I will always remember your kind heart and your infectious laugh. You were always happy and made every one around you the same. Even when we were mad at each other you always made me laugh and soon there was no anger but just the joy being around you. You were such a great friend and you had the biggest heart. The world has lost a beautiful soul. I’m sorry we lost touch through the years, but I will always remember and love you for the person you made me. Rest easy knowing that you touched so many peoples lives in a positive way.

My fondest and most memorable memory was when Gary, my son Greg, Brandon and Lance walked in from basketball looking for food, they were always hungry. They looked in my fridge and said where is the FOOD!!
What I admired most about Gary was that he was always laughing, smiling and giggling.
My deepest heart felt condolences go out to family and friend's.
God Bless you all thru this difficult time.

I can't even begin to explain how devastated I am. I met Gary as a teenager around 7th grade. I had just moved to my father's house in Huber Heights and was roaming around the neighborhood where I saw this kid about my age riding his bike. He stopped and introduced himself and from that day forward we were unseperateable untill we both graduated high school. Gary was more than a friend to me he was my brother. I loved him very much and up until the day he passed we spoke on a daily basis. When I got the news he passed a piece of my heart was taken. Gary Sr, Onerae and family, my deepest condolences go out to you. If there's anything I can do I hope you reach out to me. I will be there. I love you Gary, my brother.

I worked with Gary for many, many years at our various restaurant jobs. Gary and I would sit together during our breaks and chat and laugh! He was always so full of life and was extremely kind. I used to tease him mercilessly about having to have perfect hair and looking sharp. His nickname from me was Night at the Roxbury. Although it has been years since I've seen Gary, it saddens me tremendously to hear of his passing. He brought light and laughter into my life. My thoughts and prayers are with his closest friends and family at this time.
