Andrea Renee Rhodes age 38, of Centerville, passed away on February 5, 2019. Andrea was born in Kettering, Ohio on March 4, 1980. She was the daughter of Douglas and Sharon (Francis) Atwood. Andrea married Everett "Mike" Rhodes in a beautiful ceremony conducted at the Community United Methodist Church in Brookville, OH on Saturday, October 15, 2011.

She was a graduate of Centerville High School. She later went on to receive her Bachelors Degree in Graphic Arts from the University of Dayton. After graduation, Andrea was proud to receive her certification to become a pharmaceutical technician. This certification provided her the opportunity to join the Walmart pharmacy team were she became an invaluable member for the next several years. During her time with Walmart, Andrea received many awards to reflect her dedication, commitment and service to the company and her customers.

Andrea's faith and her church was the foundation of her life. She was a faithful member of the Englewood Christian Assembly of God for many years. In addition to her church life, Andrea enjoyed crocheting and reading especially the writings by Jane Austin and Victorian literature. She also loved the arts, especially the ballet and musicals.

However, along with her faith, the true love of Andrea's life was her husband, Mike, and all the wonderful times they spent together. Andrea and Mike were blessed with the opportunity of taking memorable vacations to their favorite destinations, the Great Smoky Mountains and Myrtle Beach.
Andrea was known as the soft-spoken, creative and honest "Fun-Aunt" by her loving nieces and nephews who are 10 in number. Some of Andrea's favorite times of her life was spending Christmas with her 2 brothers and their families celebrating this special holiday. Andrea was also devoted to her and Mike's cats and was known as the "Cat-Mom" by her family and close friends.

Along with her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Omer Francis; paternal grandmother, Irdena Atwood; paternal grandfather, Ewel Atwood; and uncle, Scott Atwood.

Andrea is survived by her loving husband, Everett "Mike" Rhodes; brothers, Daniel (Christine) Atwood and Brent (Carey)Atwood; step-father, Denzel Henderson; maternal grandmother, Myrtle Francis; uncle, David Francis; aunts, Teresa (Bill) Lowrey and Sandi (Rick) Opp; father and mother-in-law, Everett "Bud" and Becky Rhodes; brothers-in-law, Steven and Patrick Rhodes; and step-brothers, Terry and Richard Henderson.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 5:00 - 8:00pm at the Englewood Christian Assembly of God, 415 North Main Street, Englewood, OH 45322.
