1959 - 2019

Ricky Lee Jetters, age 59 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born April 11, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Floyd and Jane Jetters.

Ricky was currently employed at Butler Asphalt where he has worked for the past 30 plus years. He also worked maintenance at American Industry. He attended the United Freewill Baptist Church. Ricky enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on vehicles. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Jetters; sister, Patricia DeWitt and brothers, Floyd Jetters and David Jetters.

Ricky will be missed by his loving wife of over 40 years, Sherri; mother, Jane Jetters; son, Rickey ( Dawn) Jetters, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Jetters; son, Shawn (Victoria) Jetters; grandchildren, Breianna, Megan, Dakota, Maddison, Molly and Peighton; great grandson, Aiden; siblings, Doris Spencer, Betty Guthrie and Roger (Karen) Jetters; many nieces, nephews who held a special place in his heart; and many friends and church family.

Family will receive friends Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2-6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Pastor Buck Smith, officiating. Burial at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Please join the family immediately following the burial for fellowship at the Enterprise Baptist Church, 1642 Stewart Blvd., Fairborn, OH 45324.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
