Charlotte Jean Jergens, a loving Wife and Mother, went to her reward on November 8, 2018.

Charlotte was proceeded in death by her parents Charles & Helen, her husband Eugene, her sister Phyllis, and her son Nicholas. Charlotte leaves behind her sons; Christopher, Mark, Daniel, Bernard, Todd, Benjamin, and Eugene Jr. Charlotte also leaves behind her sister Maryellen,
13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Charlotte graduated from Kiser High School in 1943, and soon after became Mrs. Eugene Jergens – a role she treasured for 60+ years. Charlotte was also passionate about sewing and made many lovely wedding dresses, curtains, and clothes. Before macular degeneration took her eyesight, Charlotte also made many wonderful needle-points and quilts.

Charlotte was a member at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Dayton where she faithfully attended Mass and Rosary recital at every opportunity. Charlotte and Gene were founding members at Saint Helen’s Catholic Church where they parishioners for many years.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at Saint Joseph Church on December 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM, and a Celebration of Life following Mass at Bainbridge Hall 11:00 until 3:00. All family and friends are invited and welcome to attend. Charlotte will later be interred alongside Gene at the Dayton VA Cemetery in a private ceremony.
