Alice L. "Nanny" Belcher
1913 - 2018

Alice "Nanny" Belcher, age 105, passed away peacefully at her residence (Kingston of Miamisburg.) She was born on August 13, 1913 in Bradford, IN. She is one of seven siblings and is survived by her sister, Anna Mae Durbin of New Albany, IN. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Otis, of 47 years. Nanny is survived by her daughter Betty Hollmann, two granddaughters Tracy (Jim) Meredith and Kara (David) Sweeney and five great-grandchildren, Jayson, Jessica (Zac), Jeremy, Alyssa (John), Lindsey and sweet little Harper, who is Nanny's great-great-granddaughter. Nanny is also survived by several step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and caregivers at Kingston. Nanny leaves her family with many things but most importantly to embrace life and to love one another.
Visitation will be held on Sunday November 11, 2018 from 2-4 P.M. at Newcomer South Dayton Chapel, 3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 4 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingston of Miamisburg (resident activity fund.)
