Jeff was a 1975 graduate of Belmont High School and retired from Montgomery County Sanitary, where he worked as a customer service rep. He was a member of Abiding Christ Lutheran Church and a member of Via de Cristo. Jeff loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer (Bill) and Deloris Albrektson and his grandparents, Olaus and Pauline Albrektson and Charlie and Anabelle Bailey, grandmother Kathryn Albrektson (Pricer), along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Christin (Kunkle); son, Christopher (Nichole) of Kettering; 3 grandsons, Chris (CJ), Gavin and Brantlee Albrektson and 1 granddaughter, Meghan Wilson; brothers, Jim of Lebanon and Jonathan (Donna) of Dayton; many other family and friends and his beloved dog, Rescue.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Village of the Greene for their loving care of Jeff.
A memorial celebration of Jeff's Life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Abiding Christ Lutheran Church, 326 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324 at 3:00pm. Family will greet guests 1 hour prior to memorial celebration, from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association of Dayton, or Hospice of Dayton in Jeff’s memory. Arrangements in care of Newcomer South Chapel.
