Nancy J. Watts, age 79, of Riverside, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on September 17, 2018. Nancy was born in Dayton to the late Leslie and Ethel Wood on February 23, 1939. Nancy took great pride in her family. She loved to spend time with her loved ones.

Nancy enjoyed visiting Gatlinburg, TN and listening to classic country. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remember by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Mike Watts; grandson, Corey Watts; brothers, Lee Wood, Dave Wood, and Danny Wood; sisters, Thelma Davis and Connie Tucker.

Nancy leaves to cherish her memory, husband of 59 years, Clifford Watts; sons, Jeff (Debra) Watts, Steven Watts, and Greg Watts; brothers, Frank (Shirley) Wood and Don (Martha) Wood; sisters, Faye Taylor and Mary Goins; grandchildren, Chara, Deke, Bo, Rebecca, Jeffrey, Brittany, Ashley, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Destin, Devon, Isaac, Lily, Alyssa, Leslie, Luke, and Connor; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a memorial service will begin at 7 PM.
