Donna Morrell-Pruitt
1959 - 2018

Mrs. Donna M. Morrell-Pruitt was born on January 23, 1959 in Queens, NY to Mildred and Lindsey Morrell, Sr., both of whom have preceded her in death. She made her transition to eternal heavens surrounded by her family and close friends on August 6, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.

Mrs. Morrell-Pruitt is survived by her loving husband Marvin Pruitt. She was the proud mother of three children Saundra-Anne Morrell, Rhonda Haines-Pruitt (Jennifer), and Ronald Morrell-Pruitt (Amber). She was the Beloved Sister of Margaret Wilson, Lucretia Morrell, Lindsey Morrell Jr. (Artheria) and Nathaniel Morrell (Dena). She was the Devoted Nana of two grandchildren, Xavier Morrell-Pruitt and Jacksyn Haines-Pruitt. She is also survived by two in-laws, Cheryl White (Charles) and Dwight Pruitt, seven nieces, three nephews, multiple great nieces and nephews, and many wonderful family members and friends.

Mrs. Morrell-Pruitt met the love of her life, Marvin Pruitt in 1978, while the two were both working at McDonalds. They shared their first date on June 6th, 1981 and continued sharing their lives and love for each other for 37 years. The two love birds enjoyed traveling together, watching tv and movies, spending time with family and friends, hosting pasta feast dinners, listening to audio books, attending church and bible study, singing in the church choir, sharing kisses that caused her to feel butterflies in her stomach, listening to jazz and R&B music, and laughing.

Mrs. Morrell-Pruitt had a beautiful smile and an amazing soul that lit any space she entered. She blessed many with her infectious laugh, generous heart, witty comments, unconditional love, caring support, and artistic talents. She had a love for humming birds, butterflies, sunflowers, watches, painting, and traveling.
