J.V. was a sweetheart, always happy. Grandma would call him “her littles”. He had a smile that would brighten any room. He loves Sponge Bob, Mickey Mouse and last but not least Barney. He also loved balloons, dancing, music and YouTube was his favorite! Unfortunately, Monday June 4, 2018 he was called to be with the Most High.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lloyd Houston, great-grandmother Ruth Johnston and great-grandfather, George Johnson.
J.V. leaves to celebrate his life and memory his brothers, Damon Boone Jr., Christopher Warner Jr. and Darren Swain Jr.; sisters, Krislanae Warner, Darion Johnston Swain, Daria Johnston Swain and Taylynn Johnston Hoover; special cousins, Terrionna Johnston Swain, Kamari Jones, Tanisha Johnston, George Johnston, Aniya Jones, Avariyah Johnston; Aunties and Uncles, Lashanda (Robert Ross Hallery) Johnston, Devin Jones, Derron (Fredricka) Fraizer, George (Lynn) Johnston Sr.; special Grandparents, Teresa J. (Victor) Thomas; Great-Grandmother, Patricia Johnston and a host of other family and friends.
Family will receive guests from 10:00-11:00am Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Kettering with funeral beginning at 11:00 am and officiated by Bishop Harry Calloway.
