Jackie Edward Wolfenbarger, age 84, of Dayton, Ohio went to his heavenly home to be with Jesus, Monday, October 16, 2017. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on April 16, 1933, the son of Herbert Haskell and Myrtle (Butcher) Wolfenbarger. He has long since retired from a career in Printing, Manufacturing, and Mechanics. He was a veteran of the US Army and attended Moraine City Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his son, Marc, sister, Joann Baker, brother, Herbert H. Wolfenbarger Jr, and parents.
He is survived and will be greatly missed by his nephews and their families.

He was a devoted and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid guitar player and lover of country music much like his father. In the later years of his life he became an unselfish and beautiful care-giver to his mother, father, and brother revealing his deep and enduring love for his family.

Visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:30pm on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., where funeral service will follow at 1:30pm with Pastor Daniel Moore officiating.

Burial at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jack's memory to the VA Hospice Fund, VA Medical Center, 4100 W. Third Street Dayton, OH 45428-9907.
