Tanya Renee Calhoun, age 41 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was born January 5, 1976 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Roy and Constance Weaver.
Tanya was a loving wife, devoted mother, daughter and trusting confidant. She was strong willed and a true survivor. Tanya will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Tanya was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jacqueline and grandparents, Charles and Juanita Critchlow.
Tanya will be missed by her husband of 7 years, Christopher; son, David Poffenberger; daughter, Mikayla Calhoun; mother, Connie Weaver; siblings, Carolyn (Ray) Cox, James (Lori) Burton, Ellen Brumbaugh and Wesley Weaver; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424.
There will be a wake after the services at the V.F.W. Post #657, 637 Spinning Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45431.
