Schneggenburger, Charles J. (Chuck), age 68, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2017.

Born in Buffalo, NY on August 18, 1948, he was a 1966 graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School, Tonawanda, NY, and a 1968 graduate of Bryant and Stratton Business Institute of Buffalo, NY.

He was known for a keen interest in Information Technology (IT), music, and photography. Chuck spent 38+ years working for the United States Air Force, including 4 years in the military at the former Kelly AFB, San Antonio, TX, from September 4, 1968 through September 3, 1972, and the rest of his time in civilian service at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH in the IT field, retiring on January 3, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred J. Schneggenburger.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret A. Schneggenburger, his daughter, Dianna M. Schneggenburger of Wauwatosa, WI, and five brothers: Kenneth J. Schneggenburger and wife Susan of Weatherford, TX, Donald T. Schneggenburger of Friendship, NY, Jeffrey L. Schneggenburger and wife Karen of Williamsville, NY, Gerald F. Schneggenburger and wife Jean of Erie, PA, and Lee T. Schneggenburger of Buffalo, NY.

He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends whom he treasures.

The family will receive visitors from 4 – 6 p.m. on Friday, July 21st at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
