DECEMBLY, Dorothy, 92, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017.
Dorothy was a native of Owingsville, KY and resided in Dayton for 57 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Marion R. Decembly; daughter, Marilyn Evans; son, Lance R. Decembly; brothers, Charles and Manuel Johnson of Owingsville, KY, Thomas Johnson of OR, James Lee Johnson of Dayton, OH, and Jesse Johnson Jr. of Mt. Sterling, KY; sisters, Lena Wright of Lexington, KY, Louella Johnson of Cincinnati, OH, and Lottie Johnson of Richmond, VA.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Decembly, Lauretta Fambro (Robert), Sheila Anderson (Lawrence), Carol Harris (Michael) of Dallas, GA; son, David Decembly (Ophelia) of Clearfield, UT; sister, Virginia Taul of Owingsville, KY, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, a host of grandchildren, and special friends, Lynn Hinton and Jackie Williams.
Family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, April 17 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home followed by burial at West Memory Gardens Cemetery. Special thanks to staff of Hospice of Dayton for the loving care extended to our beloved.
