Robinson, Effie, age 82, of Miamisburg, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Effie was born August 27, 1931 to the late George & Lottie Maxie. Effie attended Victory Tabernacle Church in Franklin.

Effie is survived by her children: David (Susie) Robinson, Glenn (Victoria) Robinson, Bruce (Vandalyn) Robinson & Lee (Steve) Minton; grandchildren: Heather, Aaron, Ashley, Adam, Jacob, Natalie, Cassandra, Stephanie & Brittany; 14 great grandchildren; former daughter-in-law: Debbie Robinson; and numerous other family members and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Hershell Robinson Sr.; and son: Hershell Robinson Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Contributions, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Effie.
