In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of eighteen years, Wallace Jones; son, Randy Robinson; three bonus children, Fran Hurlburt, Patsy Lancaster, Wallace Jones, and six siblings, Glen Garrett, Margaret Garrett, Harold Garrett, Leora Garrett, Evelyn Garrett, and Mona Garrett.
Marian is survived by her two sons, Frank (Christy) Barnett and Tony (Sherry) Jones; four bonus children, Linda Ven Rooy, Arnita Foster, Clara Dawson, and Craig Jones; fourteen grandchildren, Frank Barnett III, Justin (Michelle) Barnett, Lindsey Barnett, Christopher Robinson, Brina (Patrick) Jones, Anthony Jones, Courtney (Terry) Arvin, Heather Hudgens, Patrick Jones, Tyler (Katelynn) Jones, Eric (Celce) Jones, Shelby Jones, Ryan Jones, and Garret Jones; thirteen great-grandchildren, Ava, Emmerson, Neveah, Isaiah, Terrilynn, Serenity, Nicolas, Riley, Madelynn, Olivia, Elayna, Harleen, Grayson; and her special cat Patches. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Marian graduated from Springfield High School in 1948 and later attended Brown College for Business. She was devoted to her faith and was a member of South Dayton Baptist Church. Marian participated in the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of the VFW Post 4105. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, art, crafts, and sports. The most important thing to Marian was her family. She was a kind, loving, strong, and generous soul who adored her children and their children. Marian is well loved and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on February 4, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home- Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Steve Thornhill at 3:00 pm following the visitation.
