Anna R. Chapman, age 92 of Dayton, passed away January 24, 2023 at her home. She was born July 25, 1930 in Cynthiama, KY to the late William and Zelphia (Morrisson) Schanding. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James and her grandsons, Jonathon Britton and Charles Collins.

She is survived by her three children, Selma Britton-Cochran, Ronnie Cooper and Rise' Isaac; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Donald Schanding, 1 sister, Judy Blethen and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Anna was one of the founding members of Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Beavercreek. She was a devoted member for 67 years and dearly loved by her church family where she made a tremendous impact on countless lives. Anna is now with her Lord & Savior and was greeted by a great host of witnesses. Anna will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Faith Christian Fellowship (1778 Grange Hall Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432) where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Monday, January 30 at the church. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton. Flowers can be sent to the church foyer on Sunday (Jan 29) after 1 PM.
